Public input sought on Snohomish County affordable housing and community development needs

Snohomish County will hold three public hearings the week of June 4, 2019, to obtain input on how federal funding will be used for housing and community development needs over the next five-years. People who are unable to attend any of the three events can email their written comments as well.

Human remains believed to be Mill Creek resident Michael Powell were found buried in a Bothell back yard on Wednesday, May 22, 2019.   Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office detectives are seeking person of interest Richard "Rick" Powell.

Human remains believed to be Mill Creek resident Michael Powell were found buried in a Bothell back yard on Wednesday, May 22nd.

After asking for the public's help, Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office detectives located a person of interest in this case on Friday, May 31st.

Everett School District high school students kick off summer internships with employers

Twenty-three employers were able to commit to 106 summer internship placement opportunities through the newly formed Everett Career Link partnership between Everett Public Schools and the city of Everett, announced in January 2019.
