On Thursday, December 14th, Snohomish County Executive Dave Somers announced the creation of an Aerospace Task Force to secure the design, production, and final assembly of Boeing's new midsize airplane, the “NMA,” and to strengthen the county's aerospace supplier base.

Sno-Isle Libraries will ask voters to maintain funding with a ballot measure in April, 2018. The resolution passed by the trustees calls for asking the voters to consider restoring 9 cents to the library district's regular operating levy.
