2013 Archbishop Murphy girls basketball season over

The W. F. West High School girls basketball team defeated Archbishop Murphy High School 47-43 in a 2A loser-out regional game at Tumwater High School on Friday, February 22, 2013.

The Everett Herald reports, “Archbishop Murphy couldn't quite rally from an 18-9 halftime deficit as W.F. West won the 2A regional game to end the Wildcats' season. Beth Carlson had 17 points and 14 rebounds to lead Murphy.”

W. F. West High School’s girls basketball team advances to the State Tournament.

Qualifiers for the 2A State Tournament include:

  • Cedarcrest High School
  • Burlington-Edison High School
  • River Ridge High School
  • Renton High School
  • W. F. West High School
  • Mark Morris High School
  • West Valley High School (Spokane)
  • Wapato High School

The draw for the 2A State Tournament will be on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 1:00 PM.
