These results are based on returns posted on the Office of the Secretary of State website.

The ballot count is fairly low this year at 41.5% for Snohomish County. MIll Creek fared a bit better with 45% of the ballots returned.

Here are the final results for races pertinent to Mill Creek:

Initiative Measure 517 – Concerns initiative and referendum measures (numbers are state-wide)

  • Yes - 629,543 votes, 37%
  • No - 1,058,527 votes, 63%

Initiative Measure 522 – Concerns labeling of genetically engineered foods (numbers are state-wide)

  • Yes - 857,463 votes, 49%
  • No - 895,516 votes, 51%

Snohomish County Council - District 4

  • Terry Ryan - 19,897 votes, 62%
  • Robert Reedy - 12,136 votes, 38%

Mill Creek City Council – Position 1

  • Sean Kelly - 2,567 votes, 59%
  • Lynn Sordel - 1,812 votes, 41%

Mill Creek City Council – Position 2

  • Donna Michelson - 2,693 votes, 59%
  • Jason Wingert - 1,852 votes, 41%

Mill Creek City Council – Position 3

  • Kathy Nielsen - 2,077 votes, 46%
  • Pam Pruitt - 2,462 votes, 54%

The Elections and Voter Registration Division of the Snohomish County Auditor’s Office and the Office of the Secretary of State posted preliminary results of November 5th’s primary election with the latest tabulations on a regular basis until the election is certified.

Election results are not final or official until certified. November 26, 2013 is the last day for the Office of the Secretary of State to certify the returns.
