The City of Mill Creek’s 2017 Veterans Day events will start with a ceremony at 9:00 am on Saturday, November 11th, at the Veterans Monument at Library Park.
The ceremony will feature uplifting patriotic songs from the Mill Creek Chorale and a moving flag raising with Mill Creek Police veterans. The City will honor veterans from each era of service.
After the ceremony, attendees can head to Mill Creek Town Center and enjoy businesses offering veterans discounts. There will be a parade down Main Street beginning at 11:00 am.
Please be aware there will be parking and traffic restrictions in Mill Creek Town Center on Saturday morning.
The parade master of ceremonies and participant performance area will be located at the four-way stop at Main Street and 153rd Street SE.
City staff and volunteers will hand out American flags and the City encourages all attendees to wear patriotic colors.
