Early morning Mill Creek burglary results in suspect's apprehension

At about 7:30 am on Sunday, January 28, 2018, as an employee arrived at Mill Creek Jewelers, 16306 Bothell Everett Highway, he encountered someone coming out.

The employee alerted police and provided descriptions of the individual and the green Honda vehicle in which he left.

A pursuit by Mill Creek Police assisted by Snohomish County Sheriff’s Deputies ensued north on 35th Avenue SE.

The suspect crashed his vehicle at approximately 35th Avenue SE and Gorin Drive in Everett.

Snohomish County Sheriff Deputies pursued on foot, and the suspect was apprehended at about Gorin Drive and 91st Street SE.

He was transported to Swedish for medical clearance. His car was impounded.

Police recovered some property in yards along the foot pursuit route.

The suspect is a white male in his late 40s, and his car is registered in Seattle.
