That’s right - The Ed Hume will be the guest speaker at the Mill Creek Garden Club luncheon and program on Tuesday, October 11th, 2016, at 11:00 am at Shawn O'Donnell's Irish Pub in Everett.

The recipient of numerous awards and honors, Ed Hume is especially proud of his induction into the Garden Writers Association "Hall of Fame," their highest honor.

He has also received the "National Garden Communicators Award " (1977).  He is an honorary "Master Gardener," "Certified Professional Horticulturist," honorary member of the "Washington Association of Landscape Professionals," and an honorary lifetime member of the “Washington State Nursery and Landscape Association."

You have heard him on the radio, and seen him on TV.  He was the pioneering garden guru in the Pacific Northwest.  He will be sharing with the garden club, "What I've learned in 65 years of gardening,” and signing his latest book “Gardening with Ed Hume, Northwest Gardening Made Easy.”

The Mill Creek Garden Club meets the second Tuesday of each month, September through May, at Shawn O'Donnell's Irish Pub, 122 128th Street S.E., Everett.

Luncheon fees are $17.00 for members and $21.00 for guests. Annual membership is $30.00.

The doors open at 10:40 am, with the program starting at 11:00 am. Reservations are required.
