With input from our friends at Seattle Humane in Bellevue we are featuring a dog that needs a loving home.

This handsome fellow is Diego, a surprisingly petite 11-year-old Border Collie mix with puppy-soft fur and adorable floppy ears. One look into those endearing eyes and you’ll be hooked!

Due to Diego’s older age he would thrive in a loving, low-key home where he can nap and cuddle with you.

He originally came to us as a stray and was very timid around new people at first. After some tender love and care from volunteers and staff alike he’s blossomed and is now feeling a bit more relaxed.

Diego has clearly gone through some rough times, and he yearns for a place where he can let his guard down and live out the rest of his golden years.

Will you be the one to shower him with TLC? Come meet this senior sweetheart today at Seattle Humane before he charms his way into someone else’s heart. You won’t regret it!

Diego would do well in a home with children 14 years and up and it’s also required that he be the only pet in your home. We’re looking for a loving adopter who has a place in their home and heart for this special pup.

As with all of our dogs, Diego has been neutered, micro-chipped, and vaccinated. He will go home with a certificate for an examination by a King County veterinarian and an identification tag. PLUS, most dog adoptions include six weeks of training in one of our on-campus dog behavior courses - a great way to start off on the right paw!
