With input from our friends at Seattle Humane we are featuring a dog that needs a loving home.
Please be aware that our pets of the week may be adopted at any time, and the shelter does not always let us know when this happens.
One look into Humphrey's eyes and your heart will melt. This two-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix is a bit anxious when meeting new people, but show him the treats and you'll soon have a new best friend.
Humphrey is not quite ready for dog parks but would do very well with patient adopters who can help him come out of his shell. He's eager to learn and you can teach him that other dogs and people are not so scary.
Humphrey loves to go for walks and he'll be looking to you to set the pace and direction. He loves treats and takes them gently.
At the end of the day, Humphrey happily will exchange a few kisses for a good massage, and then chill out for the evening.
Does Humphrey sound like the canine companion you want to share the world with? Come down and meet him today at Seattle Humane!
As with all of our dogs, Humphrey has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and behavior tested. He will go home with a certificate for a veterinary examination and an identification tag. PLUS, most dog adoptions include six weeks of training in one of our on-campus dog behavior courses - a great way to start off on the right paw!
Introduce to teenagers or older. Resident dogs required to meet prior to adoption. Cat-free home.
