With input from our friends at Seattle Humane we are featuring a dog that needs a loving home.

Please be aware that our pets of the week may be adopted at any time, and the shelter does not always let us know when this happens. It’s best to check with the shelter that the animal is still available before heading over there.

Meet Pallo, a one-year-old Plott Hound who would love to join you for playtime and go for long walks.

Pallo is a curious boy who will enjoy exploring the world with you, using his keen sense of smell to sniff the ground and air wherever he goes.

His tail and kisses are non-stop, and he would do well with an energetic owner who can let his personality really shine.

If you have room in your heart and home for this happy boy, then come meet him today at the Seattle Humane.

Pallo would do best in a home without any children under the age of ten. Resident dogs are required to meet Pallo prior to adoption. Pallo could also adapt to living with dog-savvy cats.

As with all of our dogs, Pallo has been neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated and behavior tested. He will go home with a certificate for an examination by a King County veterinarian and an identification tag. PLUS, most dog adoptions include 30 days of pet insurance from Trupanion and a training rebate when you complete a dog behavior course - a great way to start off on the right paw!
