With input from our friends at FurKidz 911, each week we will be featuring a dog that needs a loving home.
Skittles is a two year old female Chihuahua. She is from a shelter in California and is doing great in her foster home. Skittles was thought to be pregnant when she arrived mid-January, but this is not the case, she was just a little chubby. She has lost the extra pounds and loves to go on walks.
Skittles is house-broken and crate trained. She is energetic and playful with other dogs (although she does act like top-dog). Skittles has been socialized around the foster's cat and does very well. Skittles is ready for her forever home.
Skittles will be fully vetted before leaving our rescue. Her adoption fee is $260, which includes spay, full vaccinations including rabies, flea medicated, dewormed, heartworm tested (negative) and microchip.
Skittles is available for a Meet & Greet after an approved and verified adoption application. This is the first step in our adoption process. This helps us to determine the right match for our rescue dogs and your lifestyle and home environment. Our Meet & Greet/Adoption Application is available at: www.furkidz911.org/application.html.
FurKidz 911 is a non-profit 501(c)3 animal rescue organization based in the greater Seattle area in Washington. We do not have a shelter facility. Our organization is foster-based and we have a team of fosters throughout Western Washington.
FurKidz 911 is dedicated to the rehabilitation of dogs so they may find their forever home. We have met the most wonderful animals coming through our organization - all they needed was a second chance. We are an all-volunteer group with regular full-time jobs. Our rescue work is done on our own time, mainly in the evenings. Email is the best form of communication and we ask for your patience due to our regular work priorities. Our email is firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you.
