There will be a full “Old” Seattle Hill Road Closure between Bothell-Everett Highway (SR 527) and 17th Drive SE beginning on Friday, August 18, 2017, until at least October 27th. The road will be closed all day, every day, until the road has been rebuilt.
The road will be closed and rebuilt in two phases as follows:
- Phase one of the road closure will be between Bothell Everett Highway (SR 527) and west of 16th Drive SE.
- Phase two of the road closure will be between 17th Drive SE and east of 16th Drive SE.
CC Edwards Construction will lower both lanes eight feet and reconstruct both lanes for the Braemar East townhouse development project.
Braemar East is a new 140-unit townhouse development, which will be comprised of 33 three-story buildings on a 14-acre site in unincorporated Snohomish County just south of Mill Creek.
The road's frontage improvements will include a concrete curb and gutter, a five-foot wide landscaped planter strip, and a seven-foot wide sidewalk on the north side.
