The undefeated Jackson High School boys basketball team edged Monroe High School 54-53 in a 4A Wesco cross-conference game at Monroe High School on Friday, January 4, 2013.
"Dan Kingma hit a long 3-pointer with less than 30 seconds left in the game to lift Jackson to a one-point victory over Monroe in a Wesco 4A crossover contest," reports the Everett Herald. "Kingma finished with 17 points and Brian Zehr had 22 for the Timberwolves. Brandon Gundersen led the Bearcats with 14 points and Nicota Stevenson added 10."

Jackson High School's boys basketball team is now 7-0 in 4A Wesco South Conference play and 11-0 overall.
The Monroe High School boys basketball team is now 2-4 in 4A Wesco North Conference play 4-8 overall.
