High school boys basketball - Jackson 76, Lake Stevens 64

The Jackson High School boys basketball team beat Lake Stevens High School in a 4A cross-conference game at Jackson High School on Wednesday, January 2, 2013.

"Ahead by 15 at halftime, Jackson hit all 21 of its free-throw attempts in the second half to bury the Vikings under a deluge of one-pointers," reports Aaron Swaney of the Everett Herald. "Lake Stevens, behind the hot shooting of Dakota Tomson, narrowed the Timberwolves' lead to 11 four times and 10 three other times in the second half but could never get closer because of the charity stripe onslaught."

The Jackson High School boys basketball team is now 6-0 in 4A Wesco south conference play and 10-0 overall.

Lake Stevens High School's boys basketball team is now 1-4 in 4A Wesco north conference play and 3-8 overall.
