High school boy's soccer: Snohomish 4, Jackson 2

David Krueger of the Everett Herald reported that the Panthers defeated the Timberwolves 4-2 at Veterans Memorial Stadium on Monday, April 2nd.

Krueger wrote: "Jackson (4-1, 5-2) came into the game undefeated in league play and atop the Wesco South standings -- and left the game tied for the same position with Mariner, which defeated Lake Stevens 3-1. The Timberwolves had a hard time getting past Snohomish's strong defensive line, particularly senior center backs Wheeler and Lukas Martinson. The Timberwolves got two late goals by junior Brady Witsoe in the 69th and 78th minutes. The goals came on backup goalkeeper Luke Riske, who replaced starter Brenden George in the 64th minute. Pingrey subbed all of his players into the game."

Jackson High School's record is now 4-1 in conference play, and 5-2 overall.
