Idaho’s Post Falls High School girls basketball team defeated Archbishop Murphy High School 53-38 at the 3A Archbishop Murphy Christmas Tournament at Archbishop Murphy High School on Saturday, December 29, 2012.
“Beth Carlson scored 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds, but the hosts could not recover from a three-point first quarter in a loss to Post Falls in the championship game at the Archbishop Murphy Holiday Tournament,” reports the Everett Herald.
“Post Falls, undefeated and the top-ranked 5A team in Idaho in the latest Idaho media poll, forced 28 Archbishop Murphy turnovers and limited the Wildcats to 34 percent shooting from the field.”

The Archbishop Murphy girls basketball team starts the new year with a 4-0 3A Cascade Conference record and 7-2 overall record.
