The Archbishop Murphy High School girls basketball team beat Sehome High School in a 2A District 1/2 tournament loser-out game at Mount Vernon High School on Saturday, February 16, 2013. The win ensures the Wildcats at least third place in the district tournament and a chance to win second place.
The Everett Herald reports, “Archbishop Murphy senior post Beth Carlson led the way with another standout performance, pacing Archbishop Murphy with 20 points and 11 rebounds as the Wildcats defeated Sehome 54-35 in the 2A District 1/2 Tournament loser-out consolation final on Saturday night.”

Archbishop Murphy High School’s girls basketball team will play Cedarcreast High School in a 2A District 1/2 playoff game at Mount Vernon High School on Monday, February 18, 2013 at 7:00 PM. The winner of this game will take second place and the loser will take third place in the district tournament. Both teams will advance to regional play.
