Jackson High School’s boys basketball team advances to 4A State semifinals

The undefeated Timberwolves beat the Central Valley Bears 55-47 in a 4A State quarterfinal game on Thursday, February 28, 2013.

The Everett Herald reports, “Jason Todd scored 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Jackson over Central Valley in a quarterfinal game of the 4A boys basketball state tournament on Thursday afternoon at Tacoma Dome.”

“Dan Kingma and Brian Zehr each added 12 points. Kingma had a buzzer-beating 3-pointer that gave Jackson a 37-33 lead at the end of the third quarter.”

Jackson High School advances to a State semifinal game with Arlington High School on Friday, March 1st at 5:30 PM.

The two teams have already played twice this season. The Timberwolves defeated the Eagles 58-42 on February 15th to win the District 1 championship.
