Please join us for Lighthouse Cooperative’s Information Night on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria at Jefferson Elementary School, 2500 Cadet Way Everett, WA, 98208.
This event will give parents the opportunity to learn more about Lighthouse Cooperative, a choice school offered within Everett Public Schools and located at Jefferson Elementary School, that features high family engagement in their children’s education, as well as in the classrooms and the school.
During this information session, interested families will learn more about the curriculum, meet teachers, have the opportunity to ask questions and submit an application for the 2018-2019 school year.
Lighthouse Cooperative serves children in kindergarten through 5th grade in a community supported by parents and teachers.
Together, this parent/teacher collaboration offers students an exceptional educational experience by providing additional learning opportunities that are not usually included in a traditional classroom environment.
In addition to following the standard curriculum set forth by Everett Public Schools, Lighthouse parents work with teachers to lead small groups of students in specialty lessons that complement the curriculum which can include foreign languages, cooking, art, computer programming, engineering, and social skills.
A weekly classroom parent volunteer commitment is the foundation of the Lighthouse Cooperative.
If this approach to education appeals to your family, we invite you to join us to learn more. For more information about Lighthouse Cooperative, please visit our website http://www.lighthousecoop.org.
Note: We are unable to provide childcare for this event, which is directed more to parents and caregivers.
