In the spirit of giving back to the community, November 10th was the Mill Creek Garden Club’s, fourth annual Food and Essentials Drive, benefiting the Volunteers of America/Mill Creek Food Bank.

The Garden Club members outdid themselves this year by filling the back of a ¾ ton pickup truck to the brim.

A big thanks to Mike Somers and Gary Crawford, for helping our members unload their cars.

Gary, who has helped at all four of our food drives, said, “It is amazing how much everyone brought this year.”

The Garden club would also like to give a shout out to the people at City Hall who supplied carts and muscle to get the truck unloaded.

The address for the food bank is: 17903 Bothell-Everett Hwy, Suite E-101, Bothell, WA 98012, and it is open Thursdays 4 to 6 pm, and is available to any individual living in the 98012 zip code.
