The Mill Creek Little League All Stars Softball 11-12 Team was victorious in the District 1 All Stars Tournament in June.

As a result they will play in the Washington State Championship Tournament in Spokane beginning Saturday, July 9, 2016.

This team is a combination of three Mill Creek Little League majors softball teams. These girls have been undefeated outside of their own in-house games.

In the District 1 All Stars Tournament the girls beat Marysville 11 to 1 and Sky Valley 6 to 4 to advance to the championship game.

Sky Valley came back out of losers bracket to play Mill Creek once again on Thursday night, June 23rd, in the District 1 All Stars Championship Game. It was a battle on the mound with strong defense backing each team.

For Mill Creek, Kayla Peacocke made an amazing catch in right field for out number three in the 3rd inning.

Sydney Warren came up with the big play of the night throwing out a potential runner from right field to first base late in the game.

Catcher Emily Fettig called a great game with pitcher Ava Mills making a perfect combo through 5 innings with 72 pitches, 7 strikeouts, and no walks.

Amanda Wininger came in for the save pitching for two innings with no walks and 2 strike outs; one of them game ending.

Hits from Sydney Warren and Lauren Whitley combined with RBI's from Abby Pennylegion and Deirdre Delgado to give Mill Creek the 3 to 2 WIN.

The stats for this game do not show it took the efforts of every girl to make this district championship happen!
