In spite of the obstacles created by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Mill Creek Women’s Club is continuing to actively contribute to the well-being of the community through its philanthropic efforts and when social norms are reinstated, will continue to host entertaining in person social events for its members.
The Mill Creek Women’s Club supports Snohomish County Domestic Violence Services and Woodside School. Support is also provided to the Mill Creek Food Bank, and the YWCA and the YWCA Working Wardrobe which assists women with suitable clothing for job interviews and employment.
Our Annual Auction will be held online via ZOOM in November wherein support will be raised for these entities. There will be some wonderful auction items and a trip.
The Mill Creek Women’s Club will be holding ZOOM meetings for now and is hopeful that it will be able to resume its luncheon meetings and other programs in 2021.
The ZOOM option is for our members only so you will need to join the MCWC before being given access to the ZOOM link. Once you are a member, there is no charge for the ZOOM meeting.
If you would like more information about the Mill Creek Women’s Club, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The next ZOOM meeting is scheduled for October 21, 2020, at 11:00 am. The title is: “Three Holidays! Floral Demo.” The presenter is Jennifer Wirt of Monroe Floral.
Jennifer Wirt, owner and operator of Monroe Floral will present a Live ZOOM meeting demonstration of three different fresh, holiday floral designs (Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas) for our October virtual program.
Monroe Floral brings a deep-rooted passion for flowers and dedication to service since 1946. We will have a FREE DRAWING for the fresh arrangements she’s created, going to three lucky members who signed up on our website and are present to win.
The three winners will have their prize flowers delivered to their doorstep the very same day! We do hope you’ll join us!
