A TIME FOR GIVING fundraiser is being put on by Mill Creek Women’s Club, on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at the Mill Creek Country Club. Doors open at 10:00 am.
The Mill Creek Women’s Club is busy making plans for their November Fundraiser Luncheon. While they have scaled back this year, they will still have items that will bring Oooohs!!! and Aaaahs!!!
The raffle tables will be brimming with designer items, other high-quality items and handmade items. There will also be a Silent Auction with many beautiful handmade items created by members of MCWC, and “Super Silent” items.
A few of the Super Silent items are: a five-day trip to Puerto Vallarta, a three-night trip to Lake Chelan, both generously donated by John and Linda Drake, and a special treat from Jon Robert Throne, who will give a guided tour of his “Gentleman’s Farm,” a garden lover’s delight for six to eight people on a special Sunday afternoon with wine and treats.
This year the Mill Creek Women’s Club has changed its focus. It will continue to support the YWCA Working Wardrobe/Pathways for Women, but will also be helping Woodside Elementary School and the Mill Creek Community Food Bank. Come and join the fun on Wednesday, November 14, 2018.
Members and guests will NOT be able to use credit cards this year, so please remember to bring checks or cash to pay for your auction winnings.
Reservations for members should be made online in the normal fashion through the MCWC website and payment for lunch may be made at the registration table when arriving at the luncheon ($30 for members, $33 for guests).
If you wish to attend as a guest and do not know a member to make your online reservation, send a check for $33 to the address below, to be received no later than November 7, 2018.
Please mail your check with your name, address, and phone number to:
