Mill Creek Women’s Club Auction

On Wednesday, November 20, 2019, the Mill Creek Women’s Club will host its annual auction / fundraiser for the local charities it supports: Woodside Elementary School, YWCA sponsored Homeward House and Pathways for Women, Dawson Place Child Advocacy Center, and Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County. 

The public is invited to attend. The luncheon cost for non-members is $33. Reservations can be made by contacting Judy Cromwell at no later than November 12, 2019. Seating is limited and walk-ins cannot be accommodated.

This year, the Mill Creek Women's Club Luncheon Meetings are being held at the Hilton Garden Inn at Canyon Park on the third Wednesday of each month. Doors open at 10:00 am. In November, online registration for members is not available.  Member reservations must be made by sending a check for $30 to the Club at P. O. Box 12453, Mill Creek WA 98082 no later than November 6, 2019. 

The Mill Creek Women’s Club began its community outreach for the 2019-2020 Club year at Woodside School by delivering 25 “startup” packages to the school principal and secretary before the start of the school year. These packages contained many necessary items that all students need at the first of the year, but may be difficult for all families to provide, including notebooks, pencils, crayons, watercolors, earbuds, folders, glue, colored pencils, Post-its, to name a few.  In addition, much needed sweatpants, underwear and socks were provided to the school for use by the school nurse on an as-needed basis.

The Mill Creek Women’s Club continues to volunteer year-round at the YWCA Working Wardrobe facility in Everett, providing much needed, high-quality clothing for women entering the workforce or attending school.
