Mill Creek Women’s Club held their annual auction on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at the beautiful Mill Creek Country Club, benefitting the YWCA Women and Children's Shelter. The targeted goal was exceeded, raising over $26,000.

Many thanks go out to Kathleen Corbiere and Judy Cromwell, Auction Co-Chairs, and the many committee members that worked so hard to make the afternoon a success!

All proceeds go to the YWCA to pay for a security system and new appliances, to name just a few of the things they need at this time.

One of the ladies that was helped by the YWCA Pathways for Women Program spoke to us about her journey and told of all the help and encouragement she received from the good people working at the organization. Her story was both interesting and moving.

Everyone seemed to have a good time with trying to bid for their favorite things, taking a chance in the wine auction, and hoping to win in the raffle!

On top of all that going on, we managed to have a nice luncheon and visit with friends.
