Haggen Northwest Fresh grocery stores is currently expanding from 18 stores in the Pacific Northwest to 164 stores in five states through the purchase of 146 stores from other grocery chains.

A South Everett Safeway and a Clearview Albertsons are two of these newly purchased stores that will be transitioning to become Haggen’s Northwest Fresh grocery stores in the very near future.

Haggen’s company leaders are inviting local community members that are interested in partnering with the brand to an informal public meeting at The Zahn Event Center at The Manor from 5 to 6 pm on Thursday, March 12, 2015.

Haggen would like to continue their tradition of featuring locally produced products whenever possible. At this informal public meeting, local farmers and producers can discuss selling their wares on Haggen’s shelves, non-profit organizations can learn about Haggen’s community giving, and small businesses can explore co-marketing programs.
