From a Northwest Watercolor Society news release.
“Witnessing the unique perspective of each artist to take an ordinary subject matter and [create] surprising aspects is always invigorating and inspirational,” said Soon Young Warren, juror for the Northwest Watercolor Society’s (NWWS) 2019 annual membership exhibition, Waterworks Amplified.
The exhibition runs October 15th to November 22nd at Tsuga Fine Art & Framing, 10101 Main Street, Bothell, Washington 98011.
“Our juror has selected some amazing works of art for the Annual Membersip Exhibition Waterworks Amplified,” co-chair Lisa DeBaets said.
“The high caliber of entries was impressive and only a small expression of the many talented member artists of NWWS,” added co-chair Jan Rinehart.
Warren chose 51 paintings out of more than 300 entries from member artists across the US and Canada.
The 2019 Exhibition includes entries as small as 7x10 inches, under traditional glass and matted frame and without glass or mat.
Warren will present the awards at the artists’ reception at Tsuga on Thursday, October 24th, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. The public are invited.
