Quick action saves Mill Creek triplex fire from spreading

Fire District 7 firefighters quickly contained a structural fire in one unit of a Mill Creek triplex in the 13400 block of 25th Avenue SE on Saturday morning, April 27, 2019.  They were able to contain the fire in one of the three units and saved the other two units from damage.

Fire District 7 firefighters quickly contained a structural fire in one unit of a Mill Creek triplex in the 13400 block of 25th Avenue SE on Saturday morning, April 27, 2019.

They were able to contain the fire in one of the three units and saved the other two units from damage.

According to a Fire District 7 tweet, no one was home in the unit with the fire. Bystanders who were walking by reported seeing smoke coming from the home.

Responding firefighters evacuated individuals in the other two units and no one was injured. 

The Snohomish County Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
