Origninal June 24, 2012, article.
For 30 years Shari’s Restaurant of Mill Creek has been a convenient place to meet for coffee or food at all hours of the day or night. It all ended on June 24th when Shari’s Restaurant of Mill Creek closed its doors for good.
The notice on the door simply says, “Closed.” As with many business closures there was no formal announcement. Staff and customers were given the bare minimum two-weeks notice.
One information source speculates that the building had become run down and that the cost to upgrade the facility would cost too much. As of June 24th, there is no information on the Shari’s Restaurant website regarding the closure.
This is the second Mill Creek breakfast-serving restaurant closure in the past six months. The Mill Creek Patty’s Eggnest closed down earlier this year with even less notice than that given by Shari’s Restaurant.
