From a Sno-Isle Libraries News Release.
In addition to being closed on Labor Day, September 7th, Sno-Isle Libraries will be closed on September 8th so that employees can attend a day of in-service training.
The Monday to Tuesday closure affects the district’s 21 community libraries and Library on Wheels. Online services will remain available through the website sno-isle.org.
“Providing outstanding library service is a point of pride with us,” said Deputy Director Kendra Trachta.
“This district-wide day of training, held every other year, helps all Sno-Isle employees uphold the high level of library service our customers deserve.”
The district’s 450 employees will delve into such topics as technology, social media, strategic innovation, and the increase in electronic media available for customers.
