Snohomish County Parks, Recreation & Tourism Department, along with the Trail Coalition of Snohomish County, will host a public and stakeholder meeting to provide updates on current trail projects as well as gather input from county residents about trail priorities.
The meeting will be held at Willis Tucker Community Park (6705 Puget Park Drive, Snohomish, WA 98296) on Thursday, June 21, 2018, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm and is open to the public.
Some of the trail projects to be discussed include Whitehorse Trail, Centennial Trail South (connection between Snohomish and Monroe), trail connections with the City of Lake Stevens and the City of Marysville on the Centennial Trail, the gap between King County’s Snoqualmie Valley Trail and a Monroe trail head, and North Creek Trail.
“We plan to make safe, fun and healthy non-motorized connections throughout Snohomish County,” said Tom Eksten, Snohomish County Senior Parks Planner. “We want to work with cities to create optimal trail connections for our residents and visitors alike across the county.”
