What is a rebounder you might ask? Well it’s a fancy term for a mini-trampoline. It’s okay. Go ahead and let out a little giggle. I know I did when I first heard friends talking about using one for exercise. But the more I heard about them the more I was intrigued, so I did a little research on the benefits of rebounding.

Rebounding is different than other forms of exercise because it puts gravity to work for you with the least amount of muscular effort. It is one of the most efficient methods of lymphatic circulation. The lymphatic system is one of the hardest working systems in our bodies; among other things its function is essential for the health of our immune system.

I jump for 10 minutes, 2-3 times/day and love it. It’s a great way to break up my work day and has become part of my daily wellness routine.

10 Benefits of the Rebounder

  1. Enhances digestion and elimination.
  2. Stimulates lymph flow and supports the immune system.
  3. Promotes relaxation and better sleep.
  4. Stimulates metabolic activity.
  5. Strengthens every cell, muscle, organ, tissue, bone and tendon in the body.
  6. Gives all the benefits of aerobic exercises but is easy on the skeletal system.
  7. Saves you time (ten minutes of rebounding is as effective as 25 or 30 minutes of other exercise).
  8. Protects against heart disease, cancer and degenerative diseases.
  9. Improves coordination and balance.
  10. Provides relief from neck and back pains, headaches and joint pains.

Plus it’s super fun!
