Thanks to Mill Creek and Fire District 7 residents

Submitted by on

I wanted to take the opportunity to thank residents in Mill Creek and Snohomish County Fire District 7 for making our Summer of Safety such a success.

In June, we fit 50 children with low or no cost bicycle helmets.

In July, we taught 75 families at the Mill Creek Festival and Street Fair how to develop an escape plan in case of fire in the home.

On August 19, Fire District 7 will offer free blood pressure checks and help seniors organize an Emergency Response Form with their current medications during the Wellness Fair in Mill Creek. This helps emergency responders provide the best level of care if and when it is needed.

Please join us from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at McCollum Park (600 128th St. SE, Everett) for this important event.

Benjamin Franklin said, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure” and Fire District 7 is working hard to prevent injury before it happens.
