From an Everett Public Schools News Release.
Everett Public Schools and Everett Public Schools Foundation sponsor the annual high school art show.
Each school year Everett Public Schools, in partnership with the Everett Public Schools Foundation, displays the best work of our student artists at the Community Resource Center.
On April 26, 2017, family and friends gathered for the high school art reception and awards ceremony.
Both from Henry M. Jackson High School, Rebecca Strom, twelfth-grader, earned the Visual Art Scholarship and Heidi Kim, tenth-grader, earned the Superintendent’s Choice Award.
The Everett Public Schools Foundation Visual Art Scholarship awards a high school senior for excellence in the visual arts.
Superintendent Gary Cohn selected Kim’s piece titled “Ashley” and it will be permanently displayed at the district office.
