U.S. Presidential Scholars Program names two candidates from Jackson High School

Juliana Mothersbaugh and Ahmed Ghaddah, graduating seniors at Jackson High School, have been named as two of more than 4,500 candidates in the 2020 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. The candidates were selected from nearly 3.6 million students expected to graduate from U.S. high schools in 2020.

Friends of the Mill Creek Library offer professional development grants in 2020

Every year, the Friends of the Mill Creek Library (the “Friends”) offer professional development grants to local educators.  The purpose of the Friends’ grants is to help provide literacy education and services for local teachers and schools. Local educators are invited to apply for a grant postmarked by March 15th.
