Wild edibles are some of the most nutritious foods on the planet. You may have noticed them making a come-back on the menu of your favorite restaurant. Greens, nettles and wild mushrooms are local favorites. Look out your window. There is a treasure trove waiting for you. Rose hips and violet flowers are some of the richest sources of vitamin C found on Earth. Dandelion roots, greens and flowers are full of calcium, potassium, vitamin A, and vitamin C. According to Ayurveda, the bitter taste of wild greens makes them naturally cleansing and powerful aids for reducing sugar cravings.
