Cat of the Week

Forever home cat of the week - Sienna

Sienna was found as a feral kitten, 10-12 weeks old, in the fall of 2012. She is actually quite a sweet cat, loves to sleep with her human and to be petted. She comes when called, especially if she knows you have Temptation treats!

Sienna was found as a feral baby, 10-12 weeks old, in the fall of 2012. She was almost trapped, spayed, and returned to live wild, but there was no one feeding the cats at that site; her rescuer knew she would likely starve. So – Sienna went to a multi-cat home, one where the cats are allowed to go indoor/outdoor through a cat door. Her new human specifically takes in young semi-feral kittens to give them a chance to tame down in time, then find a new home.

Forever home cat of the week - Gabriel

Gabriel is an exceptionally sweet cat who likes dogs, other cats and kids, as well as adults.

This gorgeous boy now known as Gabriel appeared late on a July evening more than two years ago in Lisa’s driveway, crying and scared. He clearly wanted help but he was too traumatized to let anyone near. He would only come so close and then dash away when anyone tried to approach him.

Over the next two years, he came to Lisa’s yard every night after dark, crying and rolling in the grass to get her attention. For months, he ran when she brought him food and water, only creeping back to eat when she retreated to the porch to guard him while he wolfed down every bite as fast as he could.

Forever home cat of the week - Rainy

Rainy is a beautiful medium haired tortoiseshell kitty, about 10 months old. Rainy's family was homeless and living in their car. They had the opportunity to go to a homeless shelter, but they couldn't take their beloved companion.

Alley is the sweetest girl you will ever meet. She loves people and attention. She loves to be brushed and will rub up against you to say thank you! She is a quiet cat except for her purring.

Alley is not finicky about her food and would never think of going potty outside her litter box! In fact, she loves her canned food. There is not a mean bone in her body. She will come to me when I call and sit in a big chair beside me and watch t.v. She likes the Animal Planet channel.

Forever home cat of the week - Libby

Please adopt Libby! Libby is a darling sweet, outwardly affectionate little old lady cat. Found starving at a feral feeding station, Libby looks to have survived for years on her own outdoors. She was living with badly abscessed teeth and old healed-over leg fractures.

With input from our friends at the Community Cat Coalition, each week we will be featuring a cat that needs a loving home.
