January 7, 2014, update.

Law enforcement officials in California have contacted detectives with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office after they located Kenneth (“Ken”) Freeman, who was reported missing by his family last month.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit assisted Everett Police Office’s Marine Unit in a water operation involving two docks, four boats, and two people on the Snohomish River, on Friday evening, November 28th.

Northwest Watercolor Society’s Signature Members are exhibiting their work at the Schack Art Center from November 20 through December 27th.

The Washington State Patrol Criminal Investigation Division (C.I.D.) is investigating a fatality collision involving a 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray that took place on October 10, 2014.

The collision occurred at 1:25 PM on northbound I-5 at milepost 189, adjacent to the Everett Mall.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office has a 27 year-old male in custody following a pursuit that ended in Lynnwood at Maple and the Alderwood Mall Parkway.

August 12, 2014, update.

Aaron Snell, Everett Police Department Public Information Officer, reported that Ethel O’Neil’s blue 1987 Chevy Nova was found by a Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office helicopter this afternoon.

“At approximately 3:15 pm this afternoon, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office’ helicopter rescue team located the vehicle belonging to 89 year-old Ethel O’Neil who has been missing since July 16.” 

“The flight crew investigated and found the occupant inside the vehicle to be deceased.”

“At this time, there is no identity of the occupant. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will take custody of the body to make identification and notify family as well as establish cause and manner of death.”
