Archbishop Murphy High School clinches its fourth straight baseball championship

Archbishop Murphy Wildcats win their fourth straight baseball championship.

Aaron Lommers of the Everett Herald reports that the Archbishop Murphy High School baseball team has clinched its fourth straight Cascade Conference regular-season championship with a 12-1 win over Lakewood High School on Wednesday afternoon.

"They pitched well, ran the bases well, played small ball to perfection, hit for power and most importantly won the game," said Lommers. "Besides a potent offense, the Wildcats got strong pitching from starter Talor Okada and reliever Zander Clouse. Okada threw four innings, giving up just three hits and striking out four. Clouse pitched three innings, giving up three hits and striking out five."
