High school softball: Archbishop Murphy and Granite Falls split doubleheader

The Everett Herald reported that the Wildcats split a doubleheader at Archbishop Murphy High School on Wednesday afternoon.

"Granite Falls controlled the first game of a doubleheader by defeating Archbishop Murphy 15-1," according to the Herald. "The Wildcats redeemed themselves in the second game by upsetting the previously unbeaten Tigers 6-4 to split the two games on Wednesday afternoon."

High School baseball: Archbishop Murphy 7, Coupville 0

The Everett Herald reported that the Wildcats defeated Coupville High School 7-0 at Archbishop Murphy High School on Monday, April 2nd.

According to the Herald, "Trevor Morrison hit a grand slam in the fourth inning to help pace Archbishop Murphy to a win in a Cascade Conference game. Winning pitcher Levi MaVorhis threw a complete game shutout to go along with his 12 strikeouts."

Archbishop Murphy's season record is 9-0 in league play, and 9-0 overall so far this year.

Jackson High School boys soccer: Jackson 3, Edmonds-Woodway 0

The Everett Herald reported the Timberwolves shutout Edmonds-Woodway High School on Friday, March 30th.

The Herald said, "Carlos Martinez scored a goal to go along with his two assists to lead Jackson to a win over Edmonds-Woodway in a Wesco South match."

Jackson High School is now 4-0 in league play and 5-1 for the season.

Archbishop Murphy High School boys soccer: Archbishop Murphy 8, Sultan 0

The Everett Herald reported that the Archbishop Murphy boys soccer team shutout Sultan High School at Sultan on Friday, March 30th.

According to the Herald, "Josh Bartley scored a goal to go along with his two assists to lead Archbishop Murphy to a win over Sultan in a Cascade Conference game."

Archbishop Murphy's season record is 4-0 in league play, and 5-0 overall.

The Everett Herald reported that the Archbishop Murphy baseball team beat South Whidbey High School 11-2 on Wednesday, March 28th.

According to the Herald, "Archbishop Murphy's Marcus Burdyshaw went 3-for-3 with two RBI as the Wildcats defeated South Whidbey in a Cascade Conference game. Jack Lewis led the Falcons batting 2-for-4 with an RBI double."

Archbishop Murphy's season record is 7-0 in league play, and 7-0 overall.

The Everett Herald reported that the Timberwolves defeated the Bruins 9-1 at Cascade High School on Wednesday, March 28th.

According to the Herald, "Molly McCall hit a three-run homerun in the sixth inning to lead Jackson to a victory over Cascade in a Wesco South league game.."

Jackson High School's season record is 2-0 in league play, and 3-4 overall.
