Elle Marie partners with Make a Change to put bikes under Snohomish County Christmas trees

This holiday season, Elle Marie Hair Studio and the MAC Foundation (Make a Change) have joined forces to purchase new bicycles for children in need in Snohomish County. Elle Marie is donating 5% of all retail sales until December 31st to the MAC Foundation.

This holiday season, Elle Marie Hair Studio and the MAC Foundation (Make a Change) have joined forces to purchase new bicycles for children in need in Snohomish County. Elle Marie is donating 5% of all retail sales until December 31st to the MAC Foundation. With the support of their guests, Elle Marie will help deliver a message of hope to children less fortunate this Christmas. The bicycles will be distributed to children throughout Snohomish County through the help of the Toys for Tots program.

A majority of the City Council is prepared to pass marijuana prohibition ordinances for the good of the community and is willing to pay to defend these laws in court if the City is sued.

One-car Village Green Drive accident due to speeding on a wet road

Those of us who drive along Village Green Drive may have been wondering what happened to the metal utility box in front of the Woodfern monument this week.

Chuck Wright, a long time Mill Creek resident, was on hand to take a few photos of a Mill Creek Police officer investigating the one-car a traffic accident on Sunday, November 17, 2013, at the entrance of Woodfern.

According to a Mill Creek Police spokesperson, the 21 year-old driver was traveling westbound on Village Green Drive, “way-way too fast on a wet road.”

Search is on for Lynwood assault suspect

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is currently searching the area east of Lynwood for an assault suspect driving a car he allegedly shot at after being asked to return it to the owner. The search began at about 11 am on Wednesday morning, November 20, 2013.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is currently searching the area east of Lynwood for an assault suspect driving a car he allegedly shot at after being asked to return it to the owner. The search began at about 11 am on Wednesday morning, November 20, 2013.

The vehicle is a light green 2001 Subaru Legacy with Washington license plate #468YJO with shotgun damage on the driver’s side door.  The suspect is a 6’4” male with short black hair, weighing approximately 240 lbs., last seen wearing a green Carhart hooded sweatshirt, dressed in camouflage pants, boots and baseball cap.
