Bomb threat temporarily closes Glacier Peak High School

An anonymous threat made against Glacier Peak High School prompted the school to evacuate and close the campus on Tuesday, November 12th, while the Sheriff's Office conducted an investigation. A full search of the campus was completed and no explosive devices were located.

An anonymous threat made against Glacier Peak High School prompted the school to evacuate and close the campus on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, while the Sheriff's Office conducted an investigation.

The threats, which were sent by email to a staff member, indicated explosives would deploy in the school on Tuesday.

The Washington State Patrol Intra-Agency Bomb Squad and multiple K9 teams responded to the school.

A full search of the campus was completed and no explosive devices were located.

Deputies have not yet identified a suspect, but will work with detectives to investigate the source of the threat.
