With input from our friends at the Community Cat Coalition, each week we will be featuring a cat that needs a loving home.
Meet Handsome Cricket!
Approximately six to seven years old, Cricket loves people. This boy is very friendly and was quite a hit at the vet’s office.
Cricket follows people around like a little dog. When not lounging, he loves to play with wand toys in his spare time. He is a very sweet, loving cat.
Cricket is a handsome tabby boy that was on his own and looking for a help! When he came into rescue, we realized that he needed medical help.
It turned out that Cricket needed a dental procedure and several teeth needed to be extracted. He feels so much better and is happy to have so much attention. Sometimes, he sleeps with his tongue sticking out of his mouth.
He gets along with other mellow cats in his foster home and would do okay with calm, older children. We do not know how he would do around dogs. He is great about using the litter box and eats wet and dry food. Cricket is polydactyl and will need his claws trimmed on a regular basis.
Cricket is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, wormed, flea rx, and tested negative for viral diseases, microchipped, and has had a dental cleaning.
