High school boys basketball: Jackson 52, Edmonds-Woodway 48

The Jackson High School boys basketball team defeated Edmonds-Woodway High School 52-48 at Edmonds-Woodway High School on Friday, December 7, 2012.

"Jackson junior Jason Todd scored 31 points and the Timberwolves held off an Edmonds-Woodway's second-half run to win the Wesco 4A South league opener on Friday night," reports the Everett Herald.

"Edmonds-Woodway actually held a three-point advantage with two minutes to play and was still up by one with a minute left, but a couple of turnovers allowed the T-wolves to retake the lead on a Todd layup. Dan Kingma hit two free throws with 6 seconds left to seal the win."

The Jackson High School boys basketball team is now 1-0 in 4A Wesco Conference league play and 3-0 overall.

The Edmonds-Woodway High School boys basketball team is 0-1 in 4A Wesco Conference league play and 1-2 overall so far this season.
