Jackson High School boys basketball team win 4A District 1 Championship

The undefeated Jackson High School boys basketball team won the 4A District 1 Championship by beating Arlington High School 58-42 at Glacier Peak High School on Friday, February 15, 2013. This is the third consecutive year that the Timberwolves have won the Wesco 4A District 1 Championship.

Aaron Lommers of the Everett Herald reports, “When planning for Friday night's 4A boys district 1 championship game, Arlington head coach Nick Brown prepared for Jason Todd, Brian Zehr and Dan Kingma.”

“He failed to consider Kyle Graff and Connor Willgress.”

“Graff scored 12 points, all in the first half and Willgress scored 14, including 10 in the second half, to lead Jackson (23-0) to a 58-42 win and the 4A District 1 championship.”

Jackson High School’s boys basketball team advances to a Regional Tournament game to be held at Jackson High School on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 6:00 PM. As number one seed from District 1, the Timberwolves will play the District 3/4 number six seed.

The Arlington High School boys basketball team advances to a Regional Tournament game to be held at Puyallup High School on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 4:00 PM. As number two seed from District 1, the Eagles will play the District 3/4 number two seed.
