"You Can’t Take It With You" is a comedy in Three Acts by Moss Hart and George S. Kauffman to be performed by Henry M. Jackson High School Theatre Society. Showtime is 7 pm on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, from March 6th, through March 15th, 2014.
Alice Sycamore and Tony Kirby are a perfect match. The one thing that stands in the way of them living happily ever after is the small matter that their families are anything but a perfect match.
Tony’s family believes in a rigid life of work, self-discipline, and the pursuit of wealth. Alice’s carefree family lives in the moment, pursuing whatever is interesting in the now including writing plays, learning ballet, making fireworks in the basement, and collecting snakes.
When the two groups meet things could not go much worse, and Alice must decide if a life that includes both families is possible.
With the guidance of director Brian Marshall, Henry M. Jackson High School Theatre Society will be performing "You Can’t Take It With You" on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings at 7 pm, from March 6th to March 15th.
The tickets are $10 General Admission, $8 with Jackson ASB card, and $6 for children under 12.
