We are disappointed to announce our 2021 Mill Creek Garden Tour & Artisan Market has been cancelled, but we continue to hope and plan for its celebrated return in June of 2022.
Currently Snohomish County is in Phase 3 of the State of Washington's Covid-19 reopening plan and many people are getting vaccinated, but most of the tour planning should have been done before March and we were just not comfortable we could safely do that. It was a sad decision for us, the garden owners, the artisans, and the community.
Presenting the Tour is a highlight of our year; it is a social occasion in each of the featured gardens! Plus, the talented artisans create a unique shopping opportunity. It is also a camaraderie-building event, and it is Garden Club’s only fundraiser. WE WILL BE BACK!
We are Mill Creek Garden Club; we will work, hope, and dream for the joyous return—after all, peeking behind a garden gate is intriguing and we all could use some pleasant surprises!
We are cautiously optimistic our meetings may resume in Shawn O’Donnell’s conference room sometime in the fall, or, if necessary, we will continue with our informative guest speakers and monthly raffles via zoom. Either way, we are open to new members. Currently we are all women (not by design, guys!) and it is not necessary to reside in Mill Creek to join.
