Motor vehicle crashes continue to be the leading cause of injury-related death for U.S. children ages 1-12. In 2011, 679 children ages 12 and under died, that’s equal to one child every 13 hours.   And many more are injured, sometimes with lifelong consequences.

Safe Kids Snohomish County and Snohomish County Fire District 7 urge parents and caregivers to make sure their car seats and booster seats are properly installed.
