A pursuit of robbery suspects in a stolen car resulted in a crash at the intersection of Maltby Road and Bothell Everett Highway (SR527) on Wednesday, June 19, 2019.

At about 1:15 pm on Wednesday afternoon the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office tweeted that three suspects were subsequently taken into custody after their car collided with another vehicle and the intersection was closed to investigate the incident.

According to Ashley Hiruko of the Bothell Reporter, two passengers in the other vehicle had minor injuries.

Hiruko reported that the pursuit was caused by a purse being stolen at the Lynnwood Costco at about 12:45 pm.

She went on to say, “A description of the suspect’s vehicle was broadcasted to neighboring agencies so that they could be on the lookout for the car. The vehicle was described as an orange sports car. Information developed that the vehicle was likely a stolen Dodge Charger.”

The Sheriff’s Office tweeted that the roads were reopened at about 3:00 pm.
