At their Tuesday, May 14th, meeting, the Mill Creek City Council authorized the city manager to take a step in improving the safety of pedestrians and bicyclists who cross 132nd Street SE mid-block at Thomas Lake Center.
The Snohomish County Health District and Northshore School District issued warnings on Wednesday, May 15th, that a teenage boy who attends North Creek High School visited a number of Mill Creek, Bothell, Lynnwood, and Woodinville locations from May 5th through May 12th while infected with Measles.

Firefighters were dispatched at 11:27 am on Monday, May 13th, to a report of a vehicle fire that was spreading to the nearby house east of Mill Creek. When crews arrived on scene they found a work truck on fire in the driveway with the fire spreading to the house.
